Private Fees

In order to provide the quality of care that our patients expect and we strive to provide, the Blackwood Clinic is a private billing practice.

Saturday Fees

Please note from the 1st April 2020 private fees will apply for all services provided. This includes pensioners and health care card holders.

Bullk billing will continue to be available for children 15 years and younger plus eligible Veterans Affairs card holders.

Children

Children 15 years or younger will be provided with bulk billing services.

DVA, Pension and Health Care Card

DVA, Pension, Commonwealth Seniors and Health Care Card Holders will be bulk billed upon presentation of a valid card under normal circumstances. Please note however specialised treatments and procedures eg excisions, implants etc will attract a gap payment.

Reports & Medicals

Reports and Medicals are not covered by Medicare and the account is the responsibility of the patient. Fees are charged according to the complexity of the report requested and time required.

Non Attendance & Cancellations

There is a very high demand for appointments, so notification if you are unable to attend is appreciated. Practice policy is 4 hours notice to changes or cancellations of appointments or a fee of $50 may be applied.

Payment Methods

Payment in full is expected at the completion of your appointment. Credit Card or Eftpos accepted (Nil AMEX or Diners) **PLEASE NOTE we are no longer able to accept cash as at 1st November 2019. We now can pay your rebate straight back through TYRO payments. Payment is made in full at end of your consultation and then we can transfer Medicare rebates back into a selected cheque or savings account on the spot using your EFTPOS card. Funds are then transferred into your selected account (all within 15 seconds) Please talk to the reception team about receiving Medicare rebates directly into your bank account.
