Kate Foster

Kate leads the Blackwood Clinic team to ensure that we deliver a high quality patient experience. She ensures a positive workplace culture, ensuring accreditation standards are met, and continuously improving the systems that support our patients and team.

With a clear and commitment to quality and compassion, Kate helps make Blackwood Clinic as place where people feel cared for, heard, and supported every step of the way.

Nurse Coordinator

Donna, our nurse coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.

As the leader of our nursing team, she ensures a supportive, and high quality care environment for both patients and staff.

The Blackwood Medical Clinic wouldn’t be complete without our highly-skilled nurses who assist the doctors. They offer assistance and expertise in a variety of areas including: triage, dressings, immunisations (both scheduled and for travel), injections, venepuncture (at the request of the doctors), point of care warfarin (INR) testing, glucose testing, urinalysis, ECG, spirometry, chronic disease management plans, home health assessments, diabetes education, lifestyle education, education on use of asthma devices/spacers, surgical assisting (eg. Mirena insertion, skin lesion excisions), home blood pressure monitoring, and ACAT/allied health referrals, to name just a few!

Office Manager

Emily, our Office Manager leads the reception team and is here to ensure your experience at our clinic is a positive one.

Reception Staff

Esme, Kerren, Megan, Ellie, Bek, Sonia, Kenya and Leonie.

The reception staff are there to facilitate patients in accessing appropriate medical care, and are trained to triage incoming patient requests. They are involved in liaising between doctors, nurses, patients and practice management.
